Kvik T01 The Sociable Table – Stylish and Functional
Designed by Hans Thyge & Co., this elegant dining table features a smart extension system. The table has rounded corners and fine joinery details that reflect high craftsmanship. The slightly angled legs and solid oak frame provide excellent stability and strength.
The innovative extension system allows the table to be extended by either 50 or 100cm – without changing the position of the legs and obstructing additional seating. The system glides smoothly and effortlessly, making it possible for one person to operate it alone.
The extension leaves (sold separately) are discreetly stored in a slim compartment under the table. This, without compromising legroom. A highly functional table, perfect for everyday use (6 people) and easily expandable for larger gatherings (10–12 people).
Additionally, the colour options for this table are quite unique. They match the popular colour range of our kitchen fronts – an ideal opportunity to create a harmonious and stylish interior.
The table frame and legs are made from solid oak, FSC® certified. The tabletop is made from high-quality Fenix® nanolaminate, offering an ultra-matte and durable surface.

- FENIX® laminate
Daliy cleaning just using plenty of warm water and a melamine sponge is highly effective. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. If you look at FENIX® through a microscope, you will see the structure that causes light to reflect at a variety of angles. This is what gives the matt appearance of the surface. Taking care of FENIX® means taking care of its structure. To avoid damaging the surface, don’t scrub your FENIX® laminate with a scouring sponge, abrasive cream, a hard brush or the like. In the long term, doing this might lead to a glossy spot. Instead, you can use a melamine sponge - also known as a magic sponge. As FENIX® is a strong material, you can also use any household cleaner, like all-purpose cleaners, disinfectants, degreasers or limescale removers. If needed, even acetone can be safely used (always follow the health and safety instructions on the bottle). After cleaning with detergents, always rinse with plenty of warm water and wipe dry with a clean cloth. The water removes dirt, residues from cleaning liquids and particles of a melamine sponge, that could otherwise stay behind in the surface. The clean cloth absorbs water and therefore avoids limescale residues that may cause a change in appearance.

Please follow assembly instructions carefully. Please remember to check and tighten screws and bolts from time to time.
- Lacquared wood
Wood is a natural material and will patinate over time. The level of patina depends on the level of exposure to light. Therefore, please avoid placing the product in direct sunlight. Also, please don’t place the product too close to radiators or other heating devices. Wood surfaces, including lacquered surfaces, do not stand moisture. If the product becomes wet, please wipe up immediately. Please use gentle cleaning products. We recommend a solution of water and an universal cleaning detergent. Use a clean wrung cloth. Wipe off with a dry cloth.
