This chair is inspired by classic Danish design, reinterpreted in a modern context. Today, we spend more time in the kitchen and use the space in new ways – placing higher demands on the furniture around us. It needs to be both functional and comfortable.
In collaboration with Hans Thyge & Co., we’ve created a chair that unites aesthetics and ergonomics. It’s as beautiful to look at as it is comfortable to sit in – perfect for the modern home, where design and everyday life go hand in hand.
The large backrest offers great comfort – and not just for your back. Your elbows can also rest on the sides of the backrest – surprisingly so for a chair without armrests. When the meal is over and you want to relax, the generous backrest allows for multiple comfortable sitting positions – whether you sit upright or prefer to lounge slightly sideways with your legs crossed.
The design centres around the elegant backrest and angled legs. The chair almost leans into the table. A chair is most often seen from behind when placed at the dining table, and this is where the design reveals its most captivating feature.
The chair is made from solid oak and oak veneer. FSC® certified. It is available with or without upholstery. The fabric in the upholstered version is made from 100% recycled polyester and is OEKO-TEX® certified. The upholstery is mounted on a separate, removable panel, making it easy to maintain and refresh the chair after years of use.

- Lacquared wood
Wood is a natural material and will patinate over time. The level of patina depends on the level of exposure to light. Therefore, please avoid placing the product in direct sunlight. Also, please don’t place the product too close to radiators or other heating devices. Wood surfaces, including lacquered surfaces, do not stand moisture. If the product becomes wet, please wipe up immediately. Please use gentle cleaning products. We recommend a solution of water and an universal cleaning detergent. Use a clean wrung cloth. Wipe off with a dry cloth.
- Polyester fabric
Although the fabric has good light fastness, fabrics do fade over time. Therefore, please avoid placing the product in direct sunlight. If spills are removed quickly, it is easier to prevent stains from forming. First, scrape off any liquids or hardened remains with a spoon before you proceed. Any loose particles must be vacuum cleaned. Liquids must be soaked up with an absorbent cloth. Using warm detergent-free water, remove wet stains by carefully dabbing with a wrung cloth.
