What does the perfect lamp for a kitchen island look like? That’s the question we asked the design studio Says Who – and their answer is Kvik L01.
A minimalistic lamp that still has its own distinct character. The straight lines ending in soft curves are iconic to the design. This gives the lamp a look that is both clean and inviting. Everything is crafted from the highest quality materials.
Kvik L01 is available in two sizes, allowing you to achieve optimal lighting regardless of your kitchen island’s length:
- For kitchen islands measuring 190–240cm, we recommend the 150cm lamp
- For kitchen islands measuring 240–300cm, we recommend the 200cm lamp
The built-in LED light source has a colour temperature of 3.000K and delivers 1.000/1.500 lumens (150cm/200cm). This provides functional and pleasant lighting for the many activities that take place in the kitchen. The lamp is dimmable when installed with a compatible wall dimmer – perfect for both task lighting and ambient lighting.
Even the canopy is thoughtfully designed to match the lamp’s discreet aesthetic. The transformer is integrated into the canopy, creating a clean look with only two elegant fabric cords running from ceiling to lamp. The lamp is made from brushed aluminium and matte-lacquered metal – a colour match that harmonizes beautifully with several of the kitchen handles in our range.
Kvik L01 comes with 4.3m adjustable fabric cords, making it suitable for open-plan kitchens with high ceilings (up to 6m). We recommend an installation height of 75–80cm above the countertop.
Thoughtful Danish Design: Clean lines with soft edges create a sleek yet welcoming look. Integrated transformer in the canopy matches the lamp’s design language, with only two visible cords for a minimalist appearance.
Optimal Lighting for Any Kitchen Island: Two sizes (150cm and 200cm) tailored to island length. Suitable for both task and ambient lighting. Adjustable 4.3m fabric cords make it ideal for ceiling heights up to 6m.
