Kvik L02 The Sociable Lamp – The Perfect Kitchen Lamp
In collaboration with Annika Hoffmann, we have created The Sociable Lamp – a perfect kitchen lamp with an elegant design that puts functionality at the center.
The lamp is compact and discreet, yet far from anonymous. Its small size makes it easy to hold conversations across the kitchen table while maintaining eye contact. The colours are well-balanced and blend seamlessly with the kitchen interior.
Functionally, the lamp provides proper kitchen lighting. It illuminates an area of approximately 90x90 cm of the countertop, making it easy to create the right lighting setup. Additionally, the lamp allows for adjustment of the shade, concentrating the light on a slightly smaller area. This feature not only changes the lamp’s expression but also makes it possible to adapt the light based on placement and the number of lamps used.
